"The table is a meeting place, a gathering ground, the source of sustenance and nourishment, festivity, safety, and satisfaction. A person cooking is a person giving: Even the simplest food is a gift."

GATHER & GROW DINNER SERIES
Gatherings built around community with intention, arts & culture and social good.
Heirlooms is excited to announce the launch of a new creative initiative to bring community together to delight in our surroundings and creative capital with the
Gather & Grow Pop-UP Dinner Series.
Creating the space for a shared human experience and meaningful exchange has always been at the center of what we do. In 2018 we want to add a layer of intentionality and return to our roots in creating the space for community conversations and help plant the seeds of social change.
The Series will feature 6 creative dinners, one per month, from May–September.
These special curated affairs will be more than just a dinner, they will connect attendees to the heart of our community. We will gather to share a beautifully set table in a fun and lively local atmosphere that is constantly changing from month to month, hence pop-up. We will gather to connect with old and new friends. We will all share and tell stories of our shared experiences based on themes for each month's dinner (hint... topics could range from creative capital through public art, envisioning community through redevelopment, local food and inspiring sustainability initiatives, affordable housing, homelessness and general social good, etc).
AND above all, we will gather to encourage and incubate big dreams and help plant seeds for growth and connection within our community.
Tickets will be released 1 month prior to the dinner date with details of featured menu, event partners/collaborators and dinner topic.
Every dinner will have the following ingredients:
- A special venue/location based on relationship to dinner menu or for the purpose of activating an overlooked area in our community
- An important topic for community dialogue and conversation
- A collection of local food and drink artisans
- A local band or musician
- Local flowers and flaire
